Growing up in South East Asia, I absolutely loved the local food and one of my favourites was a mock-meat ham fried rice. Clearly the Malaysians were well ahead with their vegan food offerings! I had a hankering for that smoky fried rice recently so decided to make my own veggie fried rice with some gorgeous baked tofu on the side. It’s finally acceptable to indulge in festive hot chocolates! Fair warning, this hot chocolate is not for the faint hearted or those who have ambivalent feelings towards chocolate (monsters). I have a very low success rate with powdered hot chocolates and I feel they’re often not rich or velvety enough to be indulgent. So this recipe has both cocoa powder and real chocolate for that luxurious texture you know you need for a Christmassy hot chocolate. Enjoy!
